Counting Stars

I missed the train to Mars, I’ll go out back and count the stars

You’ll not find me at work, in bed,
I think I’m finally broke

You bring me everything you want, and nothing that I need

You thought I’d be there holding daisies
I always waited for you.

I thinks I missed the train to Mars, I’ll be out back counting stars.

I was found out back sitting naked looking up and looking dead.
With a crumpled yellow piece of paper, with seven nines and tens.

You thought I’d be there holding daisies, I always wait for you

I made the train to Mars, I’ll be gone back counting stars
